<p>"Hakuoki" is an otome game that has gained widespread popularity, not only in Japan but also around the world. It is now available in English!

The entire story is fully voiced in Japanese by renowned voice actors, and the stunning illustrations have been faithfully adapted from the PSP version of the game.

This work served as the foundation for the series' culmination, "Hakuoki Shinkai," which was released in 2015. Since the inception of the "Hakuoki" series in 2008, numerous fan disks and anime adaptations have been created based on this game.

In this game, players can experience the origin story of "Hakuoki" along with an additional scenario called the "Tea ceremony event."

Synopsis:
The game takes place during the end of the Edo Era, specifically the 3rd year of the Bunkyu Era. The protagonist, Chizuru Yukimura, hails from Edo and is the daughter of a Rangaku scholar. After losing contact with her father in Kyoto, Chizuru decides to pay him a visit. During her journey, she witnesses a Shinsengumi soldier slaying a bloodthirsty monster. Through a twist of fate, Chizuru becomes entangled with the Shinsengumi and the assassins hell-bent on eliminating them. As the story progresses, Chizuru unravels their dreadful secret in a chaotic era where the men of the Shinsengumi are torn apart by their own conflicting thoughts, fighting relentlessly to defend their faith and ideals. This dark battle within the Shinsengumi will never be recorded in history's pages.

Tea ceremony event:
In February 1867, Chizuru receives an invitation to attend a tea party on behalf of Kondo. She agrees to go accompanied by the Shinsengumi warriors. However, what lies behind this unexpected invitation? What awaits her at the party? Delve into the intrigue and spend some quality time with your favorite character to find out!

Please note that the Tea ceremony event scenario is available for purchase and is recommended to be enjoyed after completing the main story.
